Art Phillips was presented the City of Blue Springs Citizen of the Year Award for 2010 from the Truman Heartland Community Foundation.  In 2009, the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce also named McCAMM Management Company as the Business of the Year.

Henry Garcia of Los Angeles, California, became McDonald's first Hispanic owner/operator in 1971.
