This restaurant is owned and operated by an independent franchisee of the McDonald's Corporation.

At the February Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce meeting, Art Phillips, McDonald's Owner/Operator, was named the Blue Springs Business Man of the Year.

Art has been in business in Blue Springs for many years and currently owns seven McDonald's restaurants.  These restaurants are located in Oak Grove, Odessa, Higginsville, and Concordia as well as Blue Springs.

Art is very involved in each of his restaurant, and their communities.
